Fortinet Runner-up Leaps Forward in FedExCup Fall Update

The first event of the PGA Tour’s fall FedExCup is scheduled, with Sahit Segala taking home the Fortinet Championship trophy, his first tour title. The players ranked 51st and above in the points rankings will continue to compete in upcoming events with the goal of improving their standings. The top 125 players will keep their full cards, while those ranked 126 to 150 can earn conditional status.

Here’s a snapshot of the current FedEx Cup standings with six fall tournaments remaining:
– Mac Hughes at 51
– Nick Hardy at 52
– Taylor Montgomery at 53
– Alex Smalley at 54
– Thomas Detry at 55
– Stefan Jaeger at 56
– SH Kim at 57
– Bo Hossler at 58
– Brandon Wu at 59
– JJ Spahn at 60

Notable moves in the rankings include SH Kim jumping from 83rd to 57th, Troy Merritt moving from 133rd to 118th, and JJ Spaun moving from 62nd to 60th. Austin Smotherman and Davis Riley both dropped in the rankings, while Hayden Buckley is no longer the last man in the Next 10.
