Edward Jones financial advisor, Fred Robinson, has relocated his business to the Strongs Creek shopping area in Fortuna. To celebrate this move, the Fortuna Chamber of Commerce conducted a ribbon cutting ceremony on August 21st. Robinson expressed his excitement about the move after serving clients for four years in his previous location.
The new office is situated at 1095 South Fortuna Boulevard, Suite B2. Robinson’s office hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Friday. With the assistance of Michelle Austrus, his Branch Office Administrator, Robinson aims to help clients achieve their financial goals.
He values the opportunity to learn about his clients’ dreams and goals, and he prioritizes creating customized strategies to meet their needs. Robinson takes pride in being a part of Edward Jones and upholding the organization’s 101-year history of prioritizing clients.
Robinson has a master’s degree in business administration from Florida State University and a bachelor’s degree in social science secondary education from Humboldt State University. Prior to becoming a financial advisor, Robinson worked in retail management and held various positions. Alongside his work at Edward Jones, Robinson has obtained the Accredited Asset Management Specialist and Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist designations.
Robinson actively participates in community organizations, serving as a member of the Fortuna Sunrise Rotary Club and as president of Eel River Little League. Additionally, he has been a member of the Nor-Cal Football Officials Association for 15 years. Robinson and his wife, Janelle, who is also a financial advisor at Edward Jones, have been married for 15 years and have two sons attending school in Fortuna.
