France and the Netherlands Qualify for EURO 2024

Euro 2024 proved to be a tough evening for some of our Rossoneri players representing their respective national teams, but the overall outcome was positive. In a bittersweet 1-1 draw with Poland, Maignan and Hernández played the full game for France, securing their spot in the knockout stages as runners-up in Group D with five points. Despite Mike initially saving Lewandowski’s penalty, it was retaken and scored on the second attempt. Giroud also saw playing time in France’s match against Poland.

Reijnders played 65 minutes in the Netherlands’ unexpected 3-2 defeat to Austria in Group C. The loss did not hinder the Dutch team, as they are through to the next round as one of the best third-placed teams with four points. Jović came off the bench for Serbia in their 0-0 draw against Denmark, which resulted in Serbia finishing at the bottom of the table with two points and being eliminated from the tournament.
