Patriot Family Counseling Services is hosting the first Annual UniteCare Conference at Tulsa Tech’s Lemley Memorial Campus on April 4th and 5th. The conference aims to bring together mental health and caregiving professionals for a Community Collaboration Conference.

The two-day event will include workshops and training sessions focused on best practices in mental health care. It is intended for mental health care professionals, caregivers, and advocates who are looking to improve the mental health system in Oklahoma and provide better care and support to those in need.

With over half a million adults in Oklahoma suffering from mental health conditions, and many not receiving help due to various barriers, there is a clear need for improved mental health services in the state. The UniteCare Conference seeks to address this issue by providing attendees with the knowledge and tools to support individuals struggling with mental health issues.

Workshops at the conference will cover topics such as substance use disorders, self-care, and grief, among others. The goal is to empower local caregivers and community members to collaborate on solutions and tackle mental health challenges in their communities.

The conference will run from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day and is sponsored by Transformations, TulsaTech, Patriot Family Counseling Services, CREOKS, and the Mental Health Association of Oklahoma. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn and collaborate at the UniteCare Conference.
