Fubo TV has signed an agreement with NBCUniversal to provide its subscribers with multi-platform coverage of the upcoming Paris Olympics. Although the terms of the deal were not disclosed, the agreement comes as Fubo faces competition from a proposed sports super-streamer by The Walt Disney Company, Fox Corp., and Warner Bros. Discovery.

The coverage of the 2024 Olympics will be included in FuboTV’s existing subscriber plans at no additional cost. The Pro plan includes all NBCUniversal channels with Olympics coverage, while the upgraded Elite plan includes the same channels plus 4K coverage.

In addition to the 2024 Olympics, FuboTV offered its customers access to NBCUniversal’s coverage of the 2022 Olympic Winter Games in Beijing, China. The sports streamer’s subscribers will have access to live competition sessions starting on July 24, with on-demand viewing options available.

The Paris Olympics’ opening ceremony is scheduled for July 26, with coverage on the NBC broadcast network as well as NBCUniversal linear TV channels such as USA Network, E!, CNBC, and the Golf Channel. Digital coverage will be available on NBCOlympics.com, NBC.com, and the NBC Sports app, offering over 5,000 hours of Olympics content across TV Everywhere platforms.

NBC Sports has enlisted several celebrities to provide star power during the 17-day event. Personalities such as Kelly Clarkson, Peyton Manning, Today hosts Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb, and sports commentator Mike Tirico will be present during the opening ceremony as thousands of athletes partake in an unprecedented 4-mile-long flotilla down the River Seine.
