Georgetown business struck by car

Georgetown Police Department is investigating a car crash that occurred Thursday morning when a vehicle crashed into a business on Layton Avenue. Police responded to the scene shortly after 8 a.m. and found that the vehicle had collided with the building. Emergency crews provided aid to the occupants of the vehicle and a person who was inside the business at the time of the crash. Both the driver and the individual inside the business sustained serious injuries and were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment. The cause of the crash is currently unknown.
