Jadon Perlotte, a four-star linebacker from Buford High School in Georgia, has been committed to the University of Georgia since December 2022. However, he has been exploring other options and recently shared a cryptic recruiting picture with Nebraska quarterback Dylan Raiola. Perlotte, who is 6-foot-3 and 210 pounds, was teammates with Raiola at Buford High School last season.
Originally, Perlotte was expected to switch his commitment to Florida State, but he announced that he was no longer considering the Seminoles. He is now planning to visit Alabama on June 14 and has also committed to playing in the 2025 All-American Bowl. It is not clear if or when he will visit Nebraska, but Raiola is active in recruiting top players to Lincoln and continues to use his status and social media to attract talent.
Nebraska remains active on the recruiting trail, and fans can stay updated by following @CornhuskersWire on X and liking their Facebook page for ongoing coverage of Nebraska news, notes, and opinions. It will be interesting to see where Perlotte ultimately decides to play college football and how his relationship with Raiola factors into his decision.
