The team, consisting of Klara Bleyer, Susana Rovner, Solène Guisard, Maria Denisov, Amélie Blumenthal Haz, Daria Tonn, Daria Martens, and Frithjof Seidel, secured the first title for the German Swimming Association in the 50-year history of the European Championships in this sport. With 192.7166 points, the DSV team narrowly beat out Greece (191.8100) and the favored team from Italy (159.2966).
The Acrobatic Routine competition focuses on acrobatic elements, with nations required to demonstrate a specific number of lifting, jumping, and balancing elements from given categories. Klara Bleyer, who also won silver in the solo competition, was a standout performer for the German team. In the free program, the 20-year-old earned 253.4772 points, narrowly missing out on the gold medal to Austrian Vasiliki Alexandri (257.4959), just as she had in the technical program.
