Google recently released an update to Chrome for mobile devices that brings new features to search results. These features include improved result suggestions based on the user’s previous interactions, making it easier to find what they are looking for. The company aims to make searching on mobile devices as simple as doing it on a computer by incorporating tools that enhance the searching experience on both iOS and Android.

One of the new features introduced is shortcuts to suggestions in the search bar. This feature allows users to access specific web pages more easily based on their interactions with the browser. For example, if a user frequently searches for timetables and visits a specific bus line’s website, the browser will prioritize this shortcut in the search bar. Additionally, new buttons have been added to search results, serving as shortcuts so that users do not have to open a website to find information like a restaurant’s contact telephone number.

These new features are currently available in the Google Chrome app for Android devices and will be available on Google Chrome for iOS later this fall. The address bar in Chrome has been updated for Android tablets and iPads to optimize the experience for larger screen sizes. When using the address bar, the website will always be visible below the dropdown menu for easy navigation.

Google has also introduced live sports scores cards to provide users with visual information on ongoing matches. These updates are available on both iOS and Android devices through Chrome’s Discover Feed. This feature aims to keep users informed on the latest sports updates while browsing on their mobile devices.
