Gail Worth, the owner of Gail’s Harley Davidson in Grandview, Missouri, is closing her business after being in operation for a quarter of a century. She described her dealership as having a unique heartbeat that sets it apart from others across the nation. To show appreciation for her loyal customers, Worth hosted her final “Gailapalooza” motorcycle festival on June 8, featuring live music, food trucks, and biker games.

Over the years, Worth has donated around $2 million to charitable causes in the Kansas City metro area. She made the decision to retire after a friend’s diagnosis and subsequent passing, who encouraged her to live life to the fullest and take action on her desire to retire. This advice resonated with Worth, prompting her to close her business after one last Gailapalooza event.

The final farewell to Gail’s Harley Davidson is scheduled for June 29, or when the inventory runs out. Located at 5900 Highway 50 in Grandview, the dealership has become a staple in the community over the past 25 years. Despite the closure, the impact of Gail Worth and her business will be remembered by all who have crossed paths with her.
