Greeneye Technology, a pioneer in AI-enabled precision spraying technology, has successfully completed a $20 million funding round led by Israeli investment company Deep Insight. This investment will be utilized to expand Greeneye’s operations in the United States, improve the technology’s analytical capabilities, and broaden its application to include new inputs and crops. The company plans to deploy dozens more systems in farmers’ fields this year, focusing on the 200 million acres of corn, soybean, and cotton cultivated in the U.S.
CEO Nadav Bocher expressed his satisfaction in securing this round of funding, particularly during challenging economic times. He highlighted the validation of Greeneye’s mission to promote the adoption of precision spraying technology on a wider scale. The company aims to address farmers’ critical challenges, tackle environmental issues, and preserve farmland for future generations. New investors are welcomed, and existing partners are thanked for their continued support as Greeneye continues to innovate in order to provide effective solutions.
Greeneye’s innovative solution uses AI and advanced hardware to accurately identify weeds within crops and apply chemicals only where necessary – directly targeting the weeds. In 2022, the company became the first to commercially launch precision spraying technology in the U.S. To learn more about Greeneye Technology and its offerings, visit www.greeneye.ag.
