The Greensboro Science Center has welcomed a new red panda named Madeline from the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium. Madeline is now available for viewing at GSC along with other red pandas like Usa, Tai, and their twins Zuko and Azula.
The science center made the announcement on social media, inviting visitors to come see one of the sweetest and most beautiful pandas in the area. Madeline’s arrival adds to the diverse wildlife population at GSC, giving visitors the opportunity to learn more about these fascinating creatures.
GSC has a history of successful breeding with red pandas, and the birth of twins Zuko and Azula was a cause for celebration. GSC’s Vice-President of Animal Care and Welfare, Jessica Hoffman, expressed excitement at welcoming the twins and mentioned how pleased they were to have twins as opposed to a single cub. With Madeline’s arrival, the red panda population at GSC continues to grow, offering visitors an up-close encounter with these unique and adorable animals.
