Adam Hadwin is currently leading the Memorial Tournament after a disappointing performance at the Canadian Open last week. He shot a six-under-par 66 in the opening round, finishing one shot ahead of world number one Scottie Scheffler.

Scheffler is in second place at five under, with Xander Schauffele, Collin Morikawa, Ludvig Aberg, and Corey Conners all tied for third at four under. Tommy Fleetwood and Seamus Power are among those tied for seventh at three under, while Rory McIlroy sits at two under.

Justin Rose had a tough day, finishing in last place after a triple-bogey on the 18th hole left him at eight over. This tournament is the final event before the US Open next week and features a 73-player field competing for a $20 million purse.
