The Hajduk players, led by their best player Marko Livaj, are preparing for the continuation of the HNL in the midst of the Euro qualifiers. The team is saying goodbye to playing for the “Fire” as they get ready for the next match. There are four rounds left until the end of the calendar year, and the leading team of the championship will be visiting Istra 1961 in the first of them on Sunday at 3 p.m.
In that match, the record number of spectators for a home match of Istria could very easily fall, which currently stands at 7,500 spectators (Cup semi-final against Rijeka, 0-1). First of all, thanks to the Hajduk fans… In fact, Istria, except for the entire western stand, sold out all the tickets for the match for the southern stand, where the visiting fans are located, as well as for the eastern stand, where fans with Hajduk’s insignia can enter. Only tickets for the northern tribune remain on sale.
The capacity of Aldo Drosina is around 8,900 seats, and at the time of writing this text, there are exactly 1,246 tickets left on sale. Taking into account that the game is only played next weekend, and that more “late” tickets will surely be sold, it seems that the attendance record at the Istria stadium could fall.
