Halsey Opens Up about Health Struggles and Upcoming Album Release

Halsey, whose real name is Ashley Nicolette Frangipane, recently shared with her fans that she has been dealing with serious health issues. In a series of videos posted on Instagram, the singer-songwriter documented her medical treatments over an unknown period of time. While she did not disclose a specific diagnosis, she expressed feeling like an old lady and shared her plans for a healthier future.

In addition to her health updates, Halsey also released a new acoustic guitar ballad titled “The End” and announced her upcoming fourth studio album. She shared that she feels lucky to be alive and mentioned that she will donate proceeds from her latest single to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and the Lupus Research Alliance.

On social media earlier in 2022, Halsey had disclosed her diagnoses of Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, Sjogren’s syndrome, mast cell activation syndrome (MCAS), and postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS). She has been candid about her health struggles, including her battle with endometriosis. Despite her challenges, Halsey remains determined to focus on her music and her own well-being.
