Halsey Shares Health Update, Expressing Gratitude for Being Alive

Halsey took to Instagram to update fans on their health condition, saying “I’m lucky to be alive” in a post that also announced the release of a new album. The singer, who uses the pronouns she/they, shared a series of short video clips that showed them talking about their health struggles, as well as receiving treatment. In the videos, Halsey discussed their hopes for the future, expressing a desire to overcome their health issues and start anew at 30.

Fans rallied behind Halsey, praising them for being a voice for the chronically ill and sharing their own struggles with chronic illness. Some expressed excitement to hear more about Halsey’s story, while others commended the singer for their resilience and strength in the face of adversity.

Although Halsey did not disclose the specifics of their condition, they tagged lupus and blood cancer organizations in their post. This gesture highlighted the importance of raising awareness and supporting research efforts for these health conditions. The singer had previously shared their experiences of living with bipolar disorder and receiving multiple diagnoses after the birth of their child in 2021. Halsey’s openness about their health journey has resonated with fans and inspired many to persevere in the face of challenges.
