Health Inspectors Close Down Orange County Restaurants (June 20-27) – Orange County Register

During the week of June 20 to June 27, Orange County health inspectors ordered several restaurants and food vendors to close due to various health violations. The Mobil station on 11962 Brookhurst St. in Garden Grove was shut down on June 26 because of a cockroach infestation but was able to reopen the next day. Bagels Tea on 16566 Bolsa Chica St. in Huntington Beach was closed on the same day for a rodent infestation but also reopened on June 27.

Layer Cake Bakery on 4250 Barranca Parkway in Irvine was closed on June 26 without a reason provided but was able to resume operations later that day. Cho Cu Bakery on 14520 Magnolia St. in Westminster was closed on June 26 due to a cockroach infestation. Green Tomato Grill on 1419 N. Tustin St. in Orange was closed on June 25 because of a cockroach infestation but was quickly reopened on the same day.

Chada Thai on 9872 Westminster Ave. in Garden Grove was closed on June 25 for a cockroach infestation but reopened on June 27. EZ Baby Market on 1320 S. Magnolia Ave. in Anaheim was closed on June 24 due to a cockroach infestation but was back in business on June 25. Lam Van on 8888 Bolsa Ave. in Westminster was closed on June 21 for a cockroach infestation but was able to reopen on June 25. Luc Dinh Ky Restaurant on 9600 Bolsa Ave. in Westminster was also closed on June 21 for a cockroach infestation.

Additionally, 7-Eleven on 12502 Harbor Blvd. in Garden Grove was closed on June 21 because the employee restrooms were inoperable but was reopened the next day. Poke Garden on 7072 Edinger Ave. in Huntington Beach was shut down on June 20 due to a cockroach infestation.
