During the time period of May 29 to June 6, San Bernardino County health inspectors ordered several restaurants and food establishments to close and then allowed some of them to reopen after addressing health code violations.

One of the establishments ordered to close was the Red Hill Coffee Shop located at 16757 Foothill Blvd. in Fontana, which was shut down on May 29 due to a cockroach infestation. It was later allowed to reopen on May 31 after taking necessary measures to address the issue.

Another closure was at Burger King located at 1550 E. Main St. in Barstow on May 31 for operating without a valid health permit. The food sales at a Shell station located at 40873 Sunrise Canyon Road in Yermo were halted on June 4 due to the absence of potable water.

In updates from the previous week, Cafe Rio at 16938 S. Highland Drive, Suite 400, Fontana, which was closed on May 29 because of insufficient hot water, was able to reopen on May 30.

This list is a weekly publication that includes closures and reopening statuses from the previous week. The information is sourced from the San Bernardino County Department of Public Health.
