Health Inspectors Close Several Orange County Restaurants (May 11-18) – Orange County Register

The Orange County Health Inspectorate has issued an order for restaurants and other food vendors to close from May 11 to May 18, after which they are allowed to reopen. Several establishments were closed due to rodent or cockroach infestations, while others were shut down because of unapproved construction or renovation.

One restaurant that was closed due to a rodent infestation was King’s Food & Liquor, located at 2263 Fairview Road, Suite Q in Costa Mesa. Another, Ma’s House Restaurant at 601 E. Orangethorpe Ave. in Anaheim, was closed for the same reason.

Kotobuki, located at 24321 Avenida De La Carlota, Suite H-5 in Laguna Hills, was closed due to a cockroach infestation but reopened on May 18. Meanwhile, Carniceria Zaragoza’s at 1229 S. Main St. in Santa Ana was also closed due to a rodent infestation but reopened on May 18 as well.

In addition to the list of closed establishments, the article notes that this list is published for each week closed since the previous week’s list and that status updates will be posted on the list the following week.
