The light novel “Konosuba” series follows the story of Kazuma, a shut-in student who dies in a traffic accident and meets the goddess Aqua after his death. He is given the chance to reincarnate in a fantasy world and keep one thing. When he chooses Aqua for himself, the two are transferred to a new life. The novel series tells of their quests to earn enough money to buy food, housing, and clothing, eventually hiring the wizard Megumin and the swordsman Darkness, both of whom are seemingly useless.
