Jefferson City and Blair Oaks baseball both had strong performances on their home fields on Tuesday night. The Jays had a thrilling 19-18 victory over Tolton, while the Falcons dominated Hallsville with an 11-1 win in just five innings.
In the game between Jefferson City and Tolton, the Trailblazers initially took an 8-2 lead, but the Jays responded with a big seven-run third inning to take a 9-8 lead. Both teams continued to trade scores throughout the game, with Tolton jumping ahead 13-9 at one point, but Jefferson City ultimately pulled out the 19-18 win.
On the other side of town, Blair Oaks took control early in their game against Hallsville. After falling behind 1-0 in the second inning, the Falcons scored six runs to take a commanding 6-1 lead. Blair Oaks maintained their momentum and secured an 11-1 victory in just five innings.
Next, Jefferson City will face Troy Buchanan on Saturday, while Tolton will play Southern Boone on Thursday. Blair Oaks is set to play against Rolla on Wednesday, and Hallsville will compete against Centralia in the Class 4 District 8 Tournament next Monday.
