High School Sports Schedule and Scoreboard for April 18, Section III

In baseball, Oswego defeated Fulton 7-0, Cato-Meridian beat Onondaga 10-6, East Syracuse Minoa won against Auburn 4-3, Homer triumphed over Chittenango 7-0, Beaver River outscored General Brown 9-4, and Bishop Ludden secured a 7-2 victory over LaFayette.

On the boys’ golf front, Fabius-Pompey topped Altmar-Parish-Williamstown 257-284, while Rome Free Academy beat Utica Proctor 249-306. Boys’ lacrosse saw multiple matches with New Hartford defeating Rome Free Academy 17-4, LaFayette/Onondaga Central beating Cazenovia 8-5, and Carthage overpowering Watertown IHC 18-2 among others.

In flag football, Syracuse East secured a 19-0 win over Syracuse West. Girls’ golf results included F-M White beating Baldwinsville White 126-166 and West Genesee outscoring Liverpool 172-196. Girls’ lacrosse matchups featured Southern Hills beating Cazenovia 10-9, Rome Free Academy narrowly winning against New Hartford 7-6, and Jamesville-DeWitt defeating Auburn 17-10.

In softball, South Jefferson dominated Indian River 15-0, General Brown won against Adirondack 5-2, and Sandy Creek defeated Beaver River 16-0. The day’s events included outdoor track meets, with Port Byron Panther Invitational and Fulton Red Dragon Invitational for both boys and girls teams.
