One such example is the team’s starting nickel cornerback, Ja’Quan McMillian. Despite only starting one game in 2022, McMillian caught the attention of Denver’s coaching staff and has since become a key member of the Broncos’ secondary.
Newsome faces an uphill battle to secure a spot on the 53-man roster, but he will have the opportunity to showcase his skills during the summer.
