Hispanic Business Association Commemorates Women during First Meeting through the Photo Gallery – Port Arthur News

The Southeast Texas Hispanic Business Association held its inaugural Women’s Conference of Vision at Ecclesia. The event was aimed at empowering women in the Hispanic community and saw a huge crowd. The conference covered various topics including work-life balance, health, finances and immigration issues. Port Arthur LNG was the main sponsor and attendees received a packet containing information about their LNG facility under construction at Sabine Pass and career opportunities at the company.

Ten community leaders spoke to a packed room in Spanish, each on a specific topic. Ana Pereda spoke about her return to work and offered advice on resumes. Zulema Escovedo stressed the importance of making connections.
