Honor and Esports World Cup team up for mobile challenge technology partnership

The Esports World Cup Foundation (EWCF) and HONOR, a global technology leader, have announced a partnership for the upcoming Esports World Cup in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The tournament, scheduled to start on July 3, will be the world’s largest gaming festival, showcasing 22 gaming leagues with over $60 million in prize money up for grabs – the largest prize pool in esports history.

During the event, Boulevard City in Riyadh will be transformed into the hub of esports fandom, where fans can watch their favorite athletes and clubs compete. HONOR’s latest smartphone, the HONOR 200 Pro, will be the official smartphone of the Esports World Cup, offering cutting-edge technology to enhance the mobile gaming experience for popular games like Free Fire, Honor of Kings, and the women’s ML:BB tournament.

Ralf Reichert, CEO of the Esports World Cup Foundation, expressed excitement about the partnership with HONOR, highlighting how the HONOR 200 Pro surpasses the high standards set by EWC athletes. The smartphone, equipped with features such as the Snapdragon 8 series mobile platform and a 5200 mAh battery, promises smooth graphics performance and long hours of gaming.
