A member of the Politburo of the leadership of the Yemeni Houthis, Muhammad al-Bukati, said that the group has many opportunities to launch attacks on Israel. According to him, if Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip do not stop, the war will spread to other arenas. He also said that the seizure of the Galaxy Leader ship in the Red Sea was not carried out on instructions from Iran: “We wanted to distract Israel, reduce the pressure on our brothers in Gaza,” he said, noting that the group is also ready for confrontation with the United States. Another Houthi leader, Ali al-Kahum, said the group was ready to carry out strikes until Israel was crushed. “Know this: we have missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles with a range of up to 2,000 kilometers,” he said. The cargo ship Galaxy Leader, en route from Turkey to India, was hijacked off the coast of Yemen on November 19. It flies under the Bahamian flag. Home port: Nassau. The ship is owned by Ray Car Carriers, which means the ship belongs to Israeli businessman Rami Unger. But there are no Israelis on the crew.
