Iconic musician cancels concerts in preparation for upcoming Mass. performance due to health concerns

Country music legend Willie Nelson had to cancel several upcoming concert appearances due to a health issue, his representatives announced. The 91-year-old musician will be resting for the next four days following doctor’s orders. However, he is expected to make a quick recovery and rejoin the Outlaw Music Festival tour next week.

On Sunday, Nelson’s representative reassured fans that he will be fine and ready to perform at his upcoming shows on the East Coast. Nelson is scheduled to be back on stage for his June 26 show in Virginia Beach, Virginia. One of the tour stops includes the Xfinity Center in Mansfield on Tuesday, July 2, where Nelson will be joined by Bob Dylan, Robert Plant & Alison Krauss, Celisse, and more.
