An Idaho man has finally broken the Guinness World Record for the most water moved by the hands in 30 seconds after attempting to claim the title for five years. Serial record-breaker David Rush made multiple attempts over this time period, facing disqualifications due to minor infractions such as the pitcher of water moving slightly or using a non-approved surface.
Rush had to adhere to strict guidelines, using only his hands to transfer water from a bucket to a pitcher placed 1 meter (3.28 feet) away. After successfully transferring 3,323 milliliters (112.4 ounces) in the allotted time, he claimed the record. This achievement brought his total number of concurrently-held records to 174, with a goal of reaching 181 to surpass fellow serial record-breaker Silvio Sabba’s total of 180.
