The second semi-final of the T20 World Cup 2024 between India and England is being held at the Providence Stadium in Guyana. The winner of this match will face South Africa in the final.
Due to drizzling, the toss was delayed by 75 minutes from its original time of 7:30 PM IST. The game also started late by the same amount of time. Despite rain interrupting the Indian innings after eight overs, no overs were lost and the match resumed.
India scored 171/7 in their 20 overs, with captain Rohit Sharma scoring his third half-century of the tournament. England, on the other hand, fell short by 68 runs, as Indian spinners Kuldeep Yadav and Axar Patel dominated the game.
