INSP Elevates Two Technology Executives

INSP is a family-friendly cable network that focuses on Western content. The network has promoted two technology executives, John Rouda as executive VP of technology and Eric Edwards as VP, media logistics. Rouda joined INSP in 2016 and previously held the position of VP of technology. With over 25 years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, infrastructure, and cybersecurity, Rouda also teaches part-time at Winthrop University and hosts the podcast A Geek Leader. He is known for simplifying complex challenges and producing profitable outcomes for the network.

Edwards, who will report to Rouda, joined INSP in 2018 after working at NBCUniversal for six years. As senior director of media operations, Edwards has introduced updated media workflows to the network in areas like postproduction, mastering, digital restoration, and digital distribution. He started his career in postproduction and distribution of independent feature films. Rouda praises Edwards for his expertise in automation, integration, and operational enhancement, and credits him for his role in content distribution to various digital channels at INSP.

INSP, which reaches approximately 47 million homes, offers a lineup that includes original series, Westerns, action-oriented dramas, and films focused on adventure and heroic characters. CEO David Cerullo commended both Rouda and Edwards for their contributions to the network. Cerullo highlighted Rouda’s ability to lead a culturally diverse team and simplify challenges, while he praised Edwards for his execution of large-scale initiatives and expertise in media operations. The network’s goal is to provide quality content to its viewers across various platforms.
