IOC introduces new campaign, “Sport. And Beyond Sport,” in anticipation of Paris 2024

“Sport. And More Than Sport” debuts with a captivating short film that commences on the streets of Paris, the host city for the Games of the XXXIII Olympiad set to take place next month. The film follows the essence of the Olympics – depicted as a magical, invisible energy that journeys across the globe, connecting with individuals of various ages and backgrounds, evoking a myriad of emotions. Featuring Olympic icon Nadia Comaneci, the film showcases the universality of the Olympic spirit by intertwining her story with those of everyday athletes, illustrating how this spirit has the power to impact lives across the board.

Viewers can watch the short film on Olympics.com as well as on social media platforms under the handle @olympics using the hashtag #morethansport. The film will be broadcasted globally through the Olympic MRH network and will also be presented at the eagerly anticipated Opening Ceremony of the Olympic Games Paris 2024 on 26th July.
