Ireland has announced their team lineup for their upcoming second World Rugby U20 Championship match against Georgia, set to kick off at 1pm on Thursday. The team is looking to secure their second victory after a strong start to the tournament with a win against Italy in Cape Town in Group B. The game against Georgia will take place at the Danie Craven Stadium.
The back three for Ireland will consist of Ben O’Connor, Davy Colbert, and Ruben Moloney, who is making his debut for the U20s. Sam Berman and Hugh Gavin will be in the center positions, with Sean Naughton at outhalf and Oliver Coffey at scrum-half. In the pack, Jacob Boyd, Stephen Smyth, and Andrew Sparrow make up the front row, while James McKillop joins captain Evan O’Connell in the secondrow. The backrow remains the same with Sean Edogbo, Max Flynn, and Luke Murphy.
On the bench, hooker Mikey Yarr is set for his debut appearance, along with Emmet Calvey, Patreece Bell, Alan Spicer, and Brian Gleeson as forward replacements. Tadhg Brophy, Jack Murphy, and Finn Treacy complete the match day 23 for Ireland Men’s U20s against Georgia.
