Flying in Turkish Airlines’ business class, I embarked on a 22+ hour journey that included a stop at the Istanbul airport lounge. The food served during my flights and at the airport lounge surpassed my expectations, providing a truly delightful culinary experience. Additionally, I found the seating in business class to be exceptionally comfortable, adding to my overall satisfaction with the flight.

For frequent travelers like myself, purchasing business class seats outright can be costly, often reaching four-figure sums. However, I prefer to utilize frequent-flyer miles and credit-card points to secure upgrades to business class, which allows me to enjoy the luxury of premium travel without the hefty price tag. Recent data even suggests that the cost of flying business class has become slightly more affordable compared to previous years, despite the rising costs of economy airfare.

During my most recent trip, I utilized points to book a business-class flight with Turkish Airlines from the Maldives to Los Angeles, a journey that would have cost me over $4,690 if I had paid in cash for the one-layover flight. My experience flying over 22 hours in Turkish Airlines’ business class was nothing short of exceptional, providing a luxurious and comfortable travel experience that exceeded my expectations.
