The upcoming Local Business Dodgeball Tournament in St. Joseph is set to bring some fun and friendly competition next month. St. Joe Parks and Recreation Director Rhonda Juell was inspired to organize this event after witnessing a successful dodgeball tournament in a city in Arizona. She decided to give it a try in St. Joseph and reached out to local businesses to gauge interest in participating. The tournament is scheduled for May 29th at Kennedy Community School and is open to companies from outside the St. Joseph area as well.
Interested teams are required to have a minimum of eight players, with Juell aiming to gather 16 teams for the inaugural tournament. The registration fee is $20 per team, and the winning team will be awarded a championship trophy. Registration deadline is May 23rd, with more details and the option to sign up available through the provided link.
This event promises to be a great opportunity for businesses to come together, showcase their dodgeball skills, and compete for the championship title. Whether participating as a team or simply looking to support the event, all are welcome to join in on the dodgeball fun in St. Joseph.
