Israeli Company to Sell Suicide Drones to USA for Millions

Israeli company UVision and American company Mistral have signed a contract worth approximately 73.5 million dollars to supply roving weapons (suicide drones) to the US special operations command. The contract, set to run until 2029, includes the provision of Hero 120 SF model roving munitions, spare parts, engineering advice, and training assistance. This choice of roving weapon highlights American objectives and perceptions of threats, as the purpose is to target tanks, armored personnel carriers, and medium-range vehicles.

Details about the Hero 120 SF are limited, but it is based on the Hero 120 and is equipped with a 4.5 kg warhead. Developed by the Israeli company UVision, this roving weapon has a range of 60 km and a flying time of up to 60 minutes. The system is designed to operate independently, with the ability to identify and attack targets on its own.

UVision’s roving weaponry is known for its precision and ability to minimize collateral damage. The Hero 120 SF system boasts high-quality cargo carrying capacity, operational flexibility across multiple platforms, and advanced communication systems. Production of these roving weapons for American special forces will take place at UVision’s factory in South Carolina, established in collaboration with the American company SAIC.
