IU Health introduces ‘All The Difference’ initiative in west central Indiana – Inside INdiana Business

The IU Health Foundation has launched the “All the Difference: The Campaign for Indiana’s Health” in west central Indiana as part of a statewide fundraising effort. The campaign aims to make Indiana one of the healthiest states in the country by funding hospital-based initiatives to help Hoosiers avoid and treat illness and injury. Programs addressing social factors that contribute to poor health will also be eligible for funding.

With a statewide goal of $200 million, funds from the campaign will be applied towards cardiovascular care, workforce development, cancer care, orthopedics, neuroscience, infant and maternal health improvement. The campaign, expected to run through 2027, is calling for donations from both individuals and institutions.

Gary Henriott, chair of the IU Health Foundation’s board, emphasized that achieving the vision of making Indiana healthier will require collaboration from everyone who cares about west central Indiana. The foundation president, Crystal Miller, highlighted the importance of philanthropy in enabling IU Health to innovate, stretch further, accelerate implementation, take risks, and provide the best care for Hoosiers.

According to IU Health, Indiana currently ranks in the bottom 10 for state government public health spending. To learn more about the All the Difference campaign, individuals and institutions can contact Ashley Pleasant for more information.
