Ivy Tech launches Biopharma Science & Technology Lab in Indianapolis – Indy News | IN Weather | IN Traffic

Ivy Tech Community College recently unveiled a new biopharmaceutical lab in Indianapolis. The lab, known as the Biopharma Science & Technology Lab, is designed to provide students with hands-on learning experiences. Located north of downtown Indianapolis at the Illinois Fall Creek Center, the lab is expected to launch or advance careers in biopharmaceutical manufacturing through customized education and training.

During the ribbon-cutting ceremony, Stacy Atkinson, chancellor of Ivy Tech, expressed her pride and excitement for the new lab. She emphasized the importance of providing high-quality education and hands-on experience to empower students in the field of pharmaceutical manufacturing. The lab is seen as a great opportunity for Ivy Tech students to thrive and succeed in their future careers.

The establishment of the new lab is part of Eli Lilly and Co.’s $15 million investment in Ivy Tech Community College through 2028. This partnership aims to support the college in providing state-of-the-art facilities and educational opportunities to students interested in pursuing a career in the biopharmaceutical industry. Overall, the new lab represents a significant step towards enhancing the educational experience for students at Ivy Tech Community College.
