Jaden Rashada’s Lawsuit and Private Capital Funding College Football

Unfortunately, the embedded content is not available in your region. On today’s episode, Dan Wetzel, Ross Dellenger, and SI’s Pat Forde discuss various topics related to college football. Starting off, they recap current Georgia quarterback Jaden Rashada’s lawsuit against Florida head coach Billy Napier and Florida collectives, examining the implications for future NIL guardrails.

Next, they react to the release of the Big Ten’s revenue, surpassing the SEC as the highest-earning conference and discuss small conferences fighting against having to foot part of the bill for the House case settlement. They then shift their focus to a recent article by Dellenger about the potential for private capital funding college football programs and athletic departments, addressing misconceptions about the use of private funds to stimulate growth.

Finally, Wetzel shares a story about a man in Nebraska who trashed a brand new DMV office by throwing fish and carrots in the facility. The episode covers a wide range of college football-related topics and provides insights into the current landscape of the sport.
