The Nebraska Cornhuskers recently announced the addition of four-star running back Jamarion Parker to their class of 2025. Parker, who currently plays for Cardinal Ritter College Prep in Saint Louis, Missouri, had an impressive season last year with 1,644 yards and 22 touchdowns. Initially committing to Arkansas, Parker changed his mind in March and decided to join the Cornhuskers instead.
Parker’s initial commitment to Arkansas was affected by the departure of running back coach Jimmy Smith, who left for Texas Christian University in late winter. Smith had worked closely with TCU’s offensive coordinator, Kendal Briles, who was previously with Arkansas. This change likely influenced Parker’s decision to explore other options and ultimately choose Nebraska.
With Parker now committed to Nebraska, he joins TJ Lateef and Tyson Terry as the team’s only other four-star recruits in the class of 2025. Fans can stay updated on Nebraska news, notes, and opinions by following @CornhuskersWire on X and liking the page on Facebook for ongoing coverage.
