We are excited to announce that James Graff will be joining The Post’s Business staff as Tech Policy Editor. In his new role, Jamie will be instrumental in driving coverage of efforts in Washington, state capitals, and nations worldwide to regulate the tech industry, which plays an increasingly dominant role in society.

Prior to joining The Post, Jamie was part of the Wall Street Journal’s world desk in New York starting in 2014. He also served as the executive editor of The Week, a news magazine with editions in the U.K., the U.S., and Australia. Before that, he held various editor and bureau chief positions for Time Magazine in cities like Ottawa, Vienna, Chicago, Brussels, Paris, and London. Some of his most notable assignments include covering the siege of Sarajevo, the birth of the Euro, and a story exposing mismanagement of the Lascaux Caves’ priceless legacy in France.

Jamie, originally from Kentucky and raised in Cleveland, holds a BA in the humanities from the University of Chicago and studied history at the University of Munich. He resides in Washington with his wife and enjoys cycling and playing the piano in his free time.

Please join us in welcoming Jamie to The Post. He will officially begin his new role on July 8.
