Edge rusher Haason Reddick has yet to join the Jets for offseason workouts since being traded to the team earlier this year from the Eagles. However, Jets head coach Robert Saleh announced that Reddick is expected to join the team next week. Saleh admitted that he is unsure why Reddick has been absent from team activities but stated that he wants all players present at practice if possible.

Before the trade, Reddick had expressed his desire for a new contract as he is currently in the final year of his existing one. When asked about Reddick’s absence, Saleh redirected inquiries to General Manager Joe Douglas. Saleh emphasized that the offseason workouts are voluntary, and he believes that Reddick is taking the necessary steps to prepare himself for the upcoming season.

Despite Reddick’s absence, Saleh praised his professionalism and work ethic, noting that Reddick is a seasoned player who knows how to prepare for the season ahead. Saleh reassured that the team anticipates Reddick will be present at the upcoming mandatory minicamp and the training camp this summer.
