The Jets made some roster moves on Wednesday, signing tight end Kevin Foelsch and waiving quarterback Colby Suits in a corresponding move. Foelsch, who went undrafted out of the University of New Haven in April, previously signed with the Panthers but only lasted three days with the team. He had an impressive college career, recording 73 catches for 660 yards and 16 touchdowns. Foelsch joins returning tight ends Tyler Conklin, Jeremy Ruckert, Kenny Yeboah, and Zach Kuntz on the Jets roster.
Colby Suits, who was waived by the Jets, was one of five quarterbacks on the team. The remaining quarterbacks on the Jets roster are Aaron Rodgers, Tyrod Taylor, Jordan Travis, and Andrew Peasley. It will be interesting to see how the Jets utilize their quarterbacks during the upcoming season with these roster changes. Each player brings a unique skill set to the table, and the coaching staff will have to make some tough decisions moving forward.
