Curtis Samuel is ahead of the curve compared to other new receivers on the Buffalo Bills roster. With several changes in the offseason, Khalil Shakir is currently the only wide receiver on the team who has caught a pass from quarterback Josh Allen in a regular season game. However, Samuel has an advantage due to his previous experience with offensive coordinator Joe Brady.

Brady and Samuel worked together during their time with the Carolina Panthers, giving the OC familiarity with what Samuel brings to the table. Brady has expressed his confidence in Samuel’s abilities, stating that having players like him on the team improves its overall performance. Despite changes in their circumstances, Samuel has seen positive developments in Brady’s demeanor, noting his newfound confidence and style.

Samuel was drawn to the Bills due to the opportunity to play with Allen, whom he regards as a special and impressive quarterback. The 27-year-old signed a three-year deal with Buffalo this offseason, excited about the prospect of teaming up with Allen. In a recent interview with WUFO radio, Samuel discussed his admiration for Allen and his enthusiasm for joining the Bills.
