Joey Logano took the top spot in qualifying at Sonoma Raceway, securing his third Busch Light Pole Award of the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season. Driving the No. 22 Team Penske Ford, Logano posted a top speed of 97.771 mph. He was followed by Tyler Reddick of 23XI Racing and Logano’s teammate Ryan Blaney.
Chase Elliott and Kyle Larson of Hendrick Motorsports rounded out the top five, with Elliott posting a speed of 97.562 mph and Larson at 97.542 mph. William Byron, Daniel Suárez, Alex Bowman, Ross Chastain, and Ty Gibbs completed the top 10 in qualifying with impressive speeds of their own.
