John Ofenloch, formerly an operating partner at Satori Capital, has recently taken on the role of President at the AE Shoals Manufacturing and Technology Center within private equity firm AE Industrial Partners. In his new position, Ofenloch will be responsible for driving the growth and expansion efforts of the aerospace and defense facility, ultimately working to accelerate its occupancy and overall success.
With a career spanning over 30 years in the industry, Ofenloch has held key roles such as president and CEO of Astro Telecommunications and RANGER Wireless Solutions, executive finance consultant at FTI Consulting, vice president of finance and CFO at Nanovation Technologies and Authorgenics. His wealth of experience and expertise will be invaluable in guiding AE Shoals towards its goals.
Chris Emerson, senior partner at AEI, expressed excitement about having Ofenloch on board to help propel the growth of the facility and prepare for the arrival of its first tenants in the near future. AEI’s Rocket Shoals affiliate acquired the industrial facility from Retirement Systems of Alabama earlier this year, with a focus on establishing a manufacturing center of excellence serving the aerospace, defense, and industrial services sectors.
In addition to Ofenloch, AEI has also appointed Mike Lanier as VP of development and Nick Willis as facility manager. This leadership team is poised to drive the success of the AE Shoals Manufacturing and Technology Center and establish it as a key player in the industry.
