Jomboy Media, an independent sports media brand, has teamed up with regional sports network Bally Sports to broadcast its “Warehouse Games” series, which includes ball in play, floorball, blitzball, and slapball. This partnership marks the first time the games will be featured on a mainstream linear platform.

Jomboy will be producing multiple one-hour episodes showcasing content from the 2023 and 2024 Warehouse Games. The series is set to debut on Sunday, June 30, airing across Bally Sports’ 17 regional sports networks and on the Bally Sports app.

Founder of Jomboy Media, Jimmy “Jomboy” O’Brien shared, “Two years ago, we purchased a warehouse and developed a plan to create something unique: high-production sports leagues with a backyard-BBQ vibe. Our goal was to elevate the fun and banter of pick-up games into a TV-quality experience. We worked hard to develop new games, franchises, personalities, and league formats. Now, we are thrilled that our efforts, along with the support of our community, have led us to this exciting milestone.”

The partnership with Bally Sports will also feature coverage of all Warehouse Games matchups, highlighting Jomboy Media personalities and special guests like broadcaster Chris Rose, former MLB player Trevor Plouffe, and cricket legend Daren Sammy. The competitions will be presented in two formats – Franchise Series and Captains League.

Moreover, the deal includes interviews with MLB players and managers from the “Chris Rose Rotation,” the baseball trivia game “RefGuess,” and video-essay deep dives from Jolly Olive. These additional content pieces will be available on Bally Sports+ within the Bally Sports app.

Jomboy Media’s COO Courtney Hirsch expressed excitement about the partnership, stating, “Bally Sports reaches millions of sports fans daily, offering an incredible opportunity to showcase Warehouse Games to a new audience. This collaboration underscores that Jomboy Media’s creators excel in crafting engaging formats that resonate across digital, linear, and other platforms where sports fans consume video content. We are thrilled that Bally Sports sees the potential of Warehouse Games as programming that will thrive on linear TV, and we look forward to welcoming new Warehouse Games fans.”
