ASBTDC, the Arkansas Center for Small Business and Technology Development, offers a variety of trainings for small business owners, innovators, and entrepreneurs. These trainings aim to help individuals acquire the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in their respective fields.
One of the upcoming trainings is “Taxes in Negocio, Part 2,” which will be held on June 6th from 11am-noon and will be hosted by ASBTDC Business Consultant, Carolina Mejia, with instructor Celina Bustamante, CPA.
Another training, “Loans and Investments Preparation,” will be held online on June 7th from 2-3pm and will be instructed by ASBTDC Financial Consultant, Scott Lacy.
Other trainings include “Smart Principles of Marketing Messaging,” instructed by Marketing Consultant, Melissa Forziat, on June 13th from 12-1pm, and “Intellectual Property,” instructed by Patent Attorney, Meredith Lowry, on June 21st from 10-11:30am online.
In addition to these trainings, ASBTDC also offers free, confidential consulting to its clients through its offices in Fayetteville and Bentonville. The center is funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration and is a division of the University of Arkansas Fayetteville Economic Development Division.
