EA Sports recently released their preseason Top 25 lists, including rankings for the toughest places to play, offense, defense, and overall Top 25. Kansas State was ranked 24th in defense, proving that they are a force to be reckoned with on that side of the ball.

When it comes to ranking the toughest places to play, every top program believes their venue is the most difficult. College football is all about the pageantry and tradition of game day, where fans from many generations gather on Saturdays in the fall. K-State in Manhattan is no exception, creating a special atmosphere for their games.

While many college football fans may argue that SEC schools have the most intense game day experiences, the majority of the top five toughest places to play according to EA Sports are in the SEC. This may be a bit of an overstatement, as other schools like Utah have made the list as well.

Despite not making the Top 25 list for offense and overall power rankings, K-State has continued their tradition of success under coach Chris Klieman. They have consistently dominated in-state rival Kansas, maintaining their stronghold on college football in their region.

It is clear that EA Sports recognizes the defensive strength of Kansas State, but other rankings may not fully capture the team’s overall talent and success on the field. Regardless, K-State fans can look forward to another exciting season of football in Manhattan.
