The Current’s last loss dates back to September 30, 2023, when they were defeated 2-1 by the Washington Spirit. Temwa Chawinga played a pivotal role in the recent win, scoring a brace within three minutes and bringing her season goal tally to 11, making her the top scorer in the NWSL. She also made history with a unique shot into the Missouri River.
With a total of 39 goals scored this season, the Current lead the NWSL in goal-scoring, with the Washington Spirit trailing behind with 29 goals.
