As the Arizona Cardinals and the rest of the NFL enjoy their summer breaks before training camps open at the end of July, it’s worth looking ahead to the 2025 season. NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero has already announced some important dates for the offseason next year.
From February 18 to March 4, teams will have a window to use franchise or transition tags. The league year will officially begin on March 12, marking the start of free agency. This means that March 10 will be the beginning of the legal tampering period for teams to negotiate with players. The NFL draft is scheduled to take place in Green Bay, Wisconsin from April 24 to April 26, 2025.
Additionally, more details about the offseason, including the NFL combine, college all-star games, and other events, will be announced in the coming months.
